Anna Catherine Sapp

Anna Catherine Sapp, 63, of Mount Sterling, formerly of Homer, Illinois passed away peacefully at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday (May 16, 2017) at the Heritage Health, Therapy and Senior Care in Mt.Sterling, with family by her side.

Anna, many knew growing up as Cathy, was born on August 21 1953, the daughter of Charles E. and Anna C. Sapp of Homer.

Survivors include one sister; Jennifer Owens of Sebastian FL. and five brothers; Albert of Urbana, Ed of Urbana, Tim of Mount Sterling, Jim of Mahomet, and Larry of Mahomet.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sharon.

Anna had a passion and love for horses and enjoyed Sunday NFL football.

No services will be held at her request.

The family wishes memorials will be made in Anna’s name to Mental Health Centers of Western Illinois, 700 SE Cross, Mount Sterling, IL 62353. Much support is needed for people living with mental illnesses and MHCWI helps individuals on their personal paths to recovery.
