Charles Bigley

Charles Thomas Bigley, age 65, of Quincy, Illinois passed away at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at his residence.

He was born October 7, 1950 in Beardstown, Illinois the son of Herbert R. and Alberta L. Roberts Bigley. 

Charles had worked as a farm laborer for both Wayne Norton and Rolla Colclasure for several years.

He attended Brown County schools and always enjoyed coon hunting and participating in demolition derbies.

Survivors include 4 sisters Joan (Garry) White of Springfield, Illinois, Linda (Duane) Smith of Clayton, Illinois, Helen (Eddie) DeMoss of Clayton, Illinois and Kimberlee (companion Tim) Dennis of Pittsfield, Illinois.  3 brothers Kent Bigley of Augusta, Illinois, Danny (Barb) Bigley of Mt. Sterling, Illinois and Kevin Bigley of Sierra Vista, Arizona also survive along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Sharon Kissee and Betty Smith and 1 brother Randy Bigley.

Per his request, cremation will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2016 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
