I remember Gladys for her ready smile and sunny disposition in high school. She was a devoted basketball fan in those years, and she loved attending the games. As the years began to fly by, she faithfully attended our high school reunions. I could tell that she treasured those years at BHS. Eventually, I came to realize that she would always be there to see her classmates and to recall—if just for one brief evening--those happy years we all spent together from 1959-1963. In 2018, we will celebrate our 55th year of graduation from BHS. On that evening we will think of Gladys, and we will wish she were with us. We will miss her smile, her sunny disposition, and the goodness she always brought into the room with her. My condolences to her family, to her children, and to her grandchildren. May she rest in peace.
