Patricia Shepherd

Patricia Ann “Pat” Shepherd, age 74, of Timewell, Illinois passed away at 4:23 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Heritage Health, Therapy and Senior Care in Mt. Sterling.

She was born May 27, 1943 in Brown County, Illinois the daughter of Fred and Eva Mae Beebe Berry.  She married Russell Wayne Shepherd on May 27, 1961 in Mt. Sterling, Illinois and he survives. 

Mrs. Shepherd was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Poe Baptist Church in Brown County and enjoyed volunteering at the Schuyler County Jail Museum.

Survivors include her husband Russell Wayne Shepherd of Timewell, Illinois.  2 children Deborah Jill Wickert of Littleton, Illinois and Jim Shepherd of Lewistown, Illinois.  1 grandson Jared Remington Shepherd of Lewistown, Illinois.   2 brothers Ronald Berry of California and Andrew Berry of New Mexico.  2 sisters Marilyn Wright (Robert) of Deming, New Mexico and Sandra Butler of Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sons William Russell and John Charles in infancy, a son-in-law David Wickert and 1 brother Dick Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Hendricker Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Griffin officiating.

Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery near Timewell, Illinois.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Schuyler County Jail Museum.
