Jason Schreieck

Jason Robert Schreieck, age 44, of Beardstown, Illinois passed away at 10:11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at his residence.

Jason was born May 27, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of John Donald and Patricia Worley Schreieck. He married Delores Boyce on January 24, 1997 in Virginia, Illinois and she survives.

Mr. Schreieck was currently working for JBS in Beardstown. He graduated from Unity High School in Tolono, Illinois with the class of 1991.

Jason always loved playing the guitar, fishing, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survives include his wife Delores Schreieck of Beardstown. His mother Patricia Schreieck of Mt. Sterling. 1 son Chance Schreieck of Beardstown. 2 step-daughters Brigitte Boyce and Heather Boyce both of Beardstown. 5 Grandchildren Skyleigh Schreieck, Sylus Schreieck, Erica Boyce, Misty Chamberlain and Dustin Donithan. 5 sisters Theresa Palmieri of New York, Roseann Hiebert of Bayonne, New Jersey, Linda Thaxton (David) and Bonnie McGuire (Jim) all of Brighton, Illinois and Emily Davidson (Ross) of Mt. Sterling. 1 Brother Matthew Schreieck of Versailles also survives along with several nieces and nephews.      

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Larry DeSha officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sterling City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services on Monday.
