I was so very sorry to learn of Karen's passing. I worked with her at MHCWI and never failed to be impressed at her innate ability to handle every situation with dignity and grace. In all her serious professional manner, her great sense of humor quietly lurked.

My heart breaks for Karen's family. I worked with her several years at the mental health and our kids were friends when they were little. I enjoyed visiting with her at several auctions we attended as well. Karen gave me a keychain and I still carry it everyday. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
