Kathleen Foretich

Kathleen D. Foretich, who is the mother of Kathy Jo Young of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017at the age of 87. She was a resident of Central, Louisiana, who retired after 35 years with Foretich- Zimmer Construction Co. as the Secretary. She was a member of Open Bible Fellowship Church and then Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. For years she taught Sunday School and played the piano for the Open Bible Fellowship Church. She enjoyed making ceramics and one year gave each of her children a ceramic nativity set for them to display. She loved to shop- didn't have to buy anything looking was fine, as long as she was shopping. Her greatest joy was she was spending time with her family. The visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home Chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge , Louisiana, 70815, on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 12:00pm- 2:00 pm Funeral Service at 2:00 pm conducted by Bro. Danny Landry. The burial will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Josh Foretich, Landon Foretich, Aaron Young, Jay Young, Clint Anderson and Chad Anderson, Honorary Pall bearers J. Paul Foretich and Paul Drake. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Louise Stafford, Kathy Jo Young and husband Richard of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, Becky Padgett and Suzanna Foretich and wife Brianna; Two sons, J. Paul Foretich and wife Glenda and Donald Foretich and wife Donna; also survived by 13 grandchildren,28 great grandchildren, 4 great - great grandchildren and Prince Edward " Eddie" her dog that she loved like her child. Proceeded in death by her parents, Claude C. Drake and Mary Karen Petty Drake, one grandchild Mary Ann and her husband Joseph J. Foretich.  Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donors choice.
