Marilyn Kay Crawford, age 67, of Versailles, Illinois passed away at 9:54 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, Illinois.

She was born June 9, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Henry D. and Marion D. Crow Harmon.  She married Robert K. Crawford on July 18, 1975 in Mt. Sterling and he survives.

Mrs. Crawford worked as a silk screener for Decal Specialties in Jennings, Missouri for several years.

She attended St. Louis city schools and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Jennings, Missouri.

Marilyn enjoyed camping, fishing and attending stock car races.

Survivors include her husband Robert Crawford of Versailles.  5 children Lisa K. Kaeshamer (Bill) of St. Louis, Missouri, Robert Crawford, Jr. (Karen) of Jerseyville, Illinois, Dennis B. Fowler (Laura) of Brighton, Illinois, Brian E. Crawford (Tracy) of Belleville, Illinois and Carrie J. McName (Bill) of Christopher, Illinois.   1 brother Jim Harmon of Kansas City, Missouri and 2 sisters Susie Guyon of Florissant, Missouri and Kathy Locke of Cape Girardeau, Missouri also survive along with 8 grandchildren Katie and Michael Crawford, Tiana Jimeno, Toby Fowler, Brad and Sarah Crawford and Shaun and Jeremy Thurman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Ronald D. Harmon and 1 sister Carletta Jones.

Per her request, cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Steve Surratt officiating.

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Mt. Sterling City Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.

The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling is in charge of the arrangements.
