Vickie Clark Obituary

 

Vickie Sue Clark, age of 66, of Mount Sterling, Illinois passed away at 10:31 p.m. on Thursday, July 18th, 2019. Vickie was born April 25th, 1953 in Beardstown, Illinois the daughter of Jesse Smith Jr. and Betty Crosier Smith. She married George Clark on March 1st, 1991 at their home, and he survives. Vickie graduated from cosmetology school and then operated her beauty salon in her home for over 20 years, where she enjoyed all of her clientele. Vickie loved to travel with many of her family and friends and was an avid paranormal investigator, having visited many haunted locations with the girls. Her grandchildren were the love of her life, and she always cherished the time spent with them.

She is survived by her husband, George of Mount Sterling. One son, Chad Still of Alsey, Illinois. Eight grandchildren, Kage (Tessa), Cody, Kari, Cameron, Kaci, McKenzie, Kiara, and Austin. One great-grandchild, Clara. Two brothers Darrell Smith of Versailles, and Randy Smith (Tami) of Mt. Sterling. Two step–children, Max Clark and Beth Clark, both of Mount Sterling also survive along with nieces and nephews Nicole Wachter (Tim), Staci Smith and Brad Smith (Erin) and three great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Trent and Michael Still.

Per her request, cremation will be accorded and a private celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Brown County Ambulance and/or Brown County Against Cancer.

The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling is assisting the family with the arrangements.
