Alma Beachy

Alma A. (Kauffman) Beachy, age 83, of rural Camp Point, Illinois died at 2:32 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 in her home.

She was born January 10, 1938 at Dover, Delaware to Alvin J. and Annie (Zook) Kauffman.  Was married to Noah E. Beachy on September 24, 1959.  Lived in matrimony 62 years with her husband who survives. 

Also surviving are 7 children Ivan married to Judith (Byler), Oskaloosa, KS, Lester married to Thelma (Stutzman), Camp Point, IL, Laura married to Marvin Schlabach, Lexington, IN, Sarah, Stonefort, IL, Alvin married to Alta (Yoder) of Burlington Junction, MO, Edwin married to Rosetta (Yoder), Clayton, IL, Timothy married to Norma (Nissley), Sebree, KY.  40 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Visitation will be held at Siloam Springs Amish Mennonite School on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Siloam Springs Amish Mennonite Church. 

Burial will be at Siloam Springs Amish Mennonite Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice. 

The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling is assisting the family with the arrangements.
