Roger Dale Branscum, age 63, of rural Havana, Illinois passed away at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 in rural Fulton County, Illinois.
He was born October 19, 1957 in Beardstown, Illinois the son of Noah and Marjorie (Hall) Branscum. He married Kimberley Jo Noble on September 28, 1991 in Havana and she survives.
Dale is also survived by his sisters, Deborah Davis (Kent) and Kathy Mitchell all of Mt. Sterling, Illinois. 3 sons Christopher Kolves (Katie) of Macomb, Illinois, Brent Kolves (Sadie) of Albuquerque,New Mexico and Clinton Kolves of Havana, Illinois. 2 granddaughters Aliyah Kolves and Brelynn Kolves and numerous other beloved family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dale worked and managed Otter Creek Sand and Gravel for 40 years and was a member and Deacon of the Southern Baptist Church in Havana. He was a graduate of Brown County High School in Mt. Sterling with the class of 1975.
Dale was an avid fisherman who always enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends. His family always mattered the most in his life.
We know that Dale deserves a beautiful tribute and understand that under normal circumstances many friends would love to attend. But sadly due to the current health situation and under the direction of the local health department, the services are to be conducted with only family members in attendance.

Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, Illinois.
We also encourage the community to leave a condolence or remembrance on the website for the family.
There will be a public visitation from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face masks are required.
Memorials are suggested to the Havana Southern Baptist Church.
