Gary went to be with his Lord and savior on December 12th, 2021.
He was born June 18th, 1959 to Donald H. Liehr and Maria (Del Soccoro Cuellar) Liehr. He married Joni (McDaniel) Liehr on March 17th, 1979.
He is survived by his wife, Joni and his two biggest blessings and proudest achievements sons, Gary A. Liehr Jr. and Joshua J. Liehr, his “favorite daughter-in- law,” Jenny (Jones) Liehr, cherished grandchildren, Layla, Cash, Jett and Jagger Liehr, Josh Francis, brother, Lee Liehr, mother, Maria Liehr and mother-in-law, Kay McDaniel. He is also survived by his “outlaws” Jeanne and Charlie Snyder, Jim and Sherry McDaniel, Jeff and Shelley McDaniel, Julie and Marc Gragg and Jill and Tim McFadden. He leaves behind many admired nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, brother, Raymond, sister, Judy and father in law, Jim McDaniel.
Gary loved bowling at Perry lanes and playing softball with his Cargill family. He also loved spending time in his garden tirelessly tending to his record breaking pumpkins. He loved to talk to people, never met a stranger, and we believe he is currently talking St. Peter’s ear off. Gary was a simple man who loved and accepted everyone for who they are. To honor him, we would like for everyone to be comfortable and casual as he would be. We even welcome all sports attire except the Cardinals. Rest In Peace Buddha, you will be missed.
