Obituary
George William Henninger, age 55, of La Prairie, Illinois passed away at 8:20 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his residence.
He was born February 11, 1967 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Joseph Dale and Mary Ann Rigg Henninger.
George worked for Dura in Hannibal, Missouri for several years. He graduated from Quincy High School with the class of 1985.
George always enjoyed cooking and spending time on his computer.
Survivors include 1 brother Dale Henninger (Sandi) of Quincy, Illinois. 3 sisters Tammy Henninger of La Prairie, Illinois, Cathy Sullivan (Tim) of Mt. Sterling, Illinois and Ann Kelley (Mike) of New Salem, Illinois. 4 nieces Jordan Laub (Luke) of Plover, Wisconsin, Breanna Kelley of Springfield, Illinois, Jerrica Roth and Jennifer Henninger both of Quincy, Illinois. 1 nephew James Henninger of Quincy, Illinois. Great nephew and great niece Mowgli and Hollis also survive along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents Otis Rigg, Violet Rigg and Anthony and Pauline Henninger.
Cremation will be accorded and private burial will be held in the Mounds Cemetery near Timewell, Illinois.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Avenue, Mt. Sterling, Illinois 62353.
