Leslie Lichtsinn Obituary

 

Mr. Leslie Herman Lichtsinn, age 80, of Timewell, Illinois passed away at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his residence. 

He was born April 6, 1942 in Brown County, Illinois the son of Ernest Herman and Mildred M. Klingler Lichtsinn.  He married Patricia Ann Kemper on November 22, 1964 in Mt. Sterling, Illinois and she preceded him in death on October 31, 2022.  

Mr. Lichtsinn worked for Perry Feed and Fertilizer in Timewell, Illinois for over 40 years.  

He attended Brown County schools.  

Leslie was an avid rabbit and squirrel hunter and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Survivors include 2 sons Christopher William Lichtsinn (Kimberly) and Gregg Arthur Lichtsinn.  4 grandchildren Liley Lichtsinn, Gracey Lichtsinn, Jarred Smith and Heather Smith.  3 great grandchildren Jennessa, Zoey and Mackenzie Johnson also survive along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Mark Lichtsinn and 1 sister Gala Reische. 

Private burial will be held in the Becam Cemetery north of Timewell, Illinois.  There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice and may be left or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Avenue, Mt. Sterling, Illinois 62353.
