Robert Bryant Andrews, Sr., age 59, of Godfrey, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence.
He was born November 2, 1961 in Arnold, MIssouri the son of Cletus and Brenda Kay Ketcherside Andrews. He married Teresa Zehr and later married Leonard “Jimmy” Ebrey on February 19, 2017 and they passed away simultaneously on February 1, 2021.
Robert was a certified surgical technician for SSM St. Clare Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri for several years before retiring.
He graduated from Fox Senior High School in Arnold, Missouri with the class of 1980 and then received his associates degree from Jefferson Memorial College.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Kay Andrews of Potosi, MIssouri. 14 children Brandy Apple (Heather), Robert Andrews, Jr. (Michelle), Brandon Andrews (Carla), Bridgette Andrews (Ryan), Genevieve Black (Doran), Jeremy Gowan, Alicia Andrews, Josh Andrews (Melissa), Dylan Andrews (Andy), Jamie Andrews, Randy Andrews, Blake Andrews, Brock Andrews, Bryce Andrews and many more that he would consider his children. 1 brother Cletus Andrews, Jr. (Sheryl). 2 sisters Sharon Nettles and Missy Roberts (Ricky). 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
We know that Robert deserves a beautiful tribute and understand that under normal circumstances many friends would love to attend. But sadly due to the current health situation and under the direction of the local health department, the services are to be conducted with only immediate family members in attendance.

Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Benville Cemetery in Brown County, Illinois.
We also encourage the community to leave a condolence or remembrance on the website for the family.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society and may be left at or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Avenue, Mt. Sterling, IL 62353.
