William Calaway

William Keith Calaway, age 69, of Mt.Sterling, Illinois passed away at 10:14 p.m. on Monday August 30, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born February 7, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois the son of David Henry and Mary Ann Boss Calaway.  

Mr. Calaway worked for Trinity Industries in Quincy, Illinois for 28 ½ years.  

Survivors include 5 children William “Shorty” Calaway of Arizona, Daryl Calaway of Meredosia, Illinois, Niki Schreacke of Loraine, Illinois, Mandy Calaway of Palmyra, Illinois and Brent Bigley of Quincy, Illinois.  1 sister Marsha DeMoss of Mendon, Illinois.  12 grandchildren also survive.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son Brett Bigley. 

Cremation will be accorded and a graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Hersman Cemetery with Rev. Matt Haberman officiating. 

There will be no visitation. 

Memorials are suggested to the family.
