Your mother was such a loving and talented lady. I worked with your parents when they were featured in the Bridal section in the DM back in 1995. What a great time we had. They loved each other so much - a great couple. God Bless! Keeping in you in prayer.

My sympathies to the family. Irene and her husband were such interesting people. I met them when she wandered into my video rental store in Mt. Sterling, IL many years ago. We struck up a conversation about the book she had just gotten at the Library. I told her about a series I had read and she stopped months later to tell me she had read both of them. I told her there were 3 in the series and loaned her the 3rd one that I had in my own collection. They told me their granddaughter played classical guitar and they had a CD, but no CD player. I offered to copy it onto a cassette for them. He sat in the video store with me while I copied it. Later, she gave me one of her hand painted eggs as a thank you. I still have it and cherish it. May Irene rest in peace and may you feel comfort that she touched so many lives.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Buster and I used to live out by your Mom and Dad for several years and Buster farmed your Dad ground there for several years. We really enjoyed the friendship your folks gave, and my folks were Russell and Virginia Lerch that used to live by them also. God bless you and yours.

Irene was a dear friend as we shared many of the same philosophies. I have one of her beautiful painted eggs in my keepsake case. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.97

Linda, I used to work with you through the bank. Your mother was such a sweet lady. My mother is also at the nursing home, so I would see your mom often. I would see her in the dining room and she was always smiling. So sorry for your loss.
